3vit helps freelancers save on taxes by separating their personal and business expenses.

How is it useful

  1. Connect your bank accounts (what does it mean?).
  2. Review transactions for Personal and Business.
  3. Add IRS-based categories to the expenses.
  4. During the tax season, have deductible expenses and income at hand.

Anonymity first

Using the app is completely anonymous. By design, neither we nor anybody else knows anything about your transactions particularly. We do not collect your name, use marketing cookies, or use social media widgets to get data about you. We only ask for an email or a phone number for you to have an account.

We're absolutely fed up with these data-scavenging companies that think it's perfectly normal to pry into our personal lives and find out what we eat for breakfast or who's hanging out at our place on the weekends. It's invasive, it's creepy, and it's downright wrong. We refuse to stand by and let our privacy be violated like this.

What about my bank data?

We do not directly have access to any of your banks. We use a modern and secure service called Plaid that handles a connection between you and your bank. However, we are not part of that connection in any way. We only securely store your transactions so that you can categorize and export them when you needed. You can also delete any of that at any point in time.

How will you make money?

We’ve just started, and while applying the security-first methods to build our features, we’re still looking for a business model. One thing Denys and I (Igor) would like to avoid is charging for subscriptions. Possibly, we’ll charge for the tax season preparations—like exporting the reports.
